Static Recrystallization Behavior of Low-Carbon Nb-V-Microalloyed Forging Steel

Static recrystallization is a method of tailoring the microstructure and mechanical properties steels, which important for microalloyed forging steels as hot deformation process significantly affects their properties. In this paper, static behavior low-carbon Nb-V-microalloyed steel was investigated by double-pass compression tests at temperature 800–1100 °C interruption time 1–1000 s. The fractions were determined using 2% offset method. activation energy critical (SRCT) experimental determined. When higher than SRCT, fraction curve conformed to Avrami equation. below appeared plateau, caused strain-induced precipitation. Before after kinetics still obeyed
